Walking Mums of Cheshire: supporting families from the very beginning
I was delighted to be invited to speak to Walking Mums of Cheshire, a wonderful group of mums on maternity leave who meet for gentle nature walks followed by educational sessions. This was my youngest audience yet, and they absolutely loved the colourful, joyful presentation delivered in true Joyful Orthodontics style. We talked about brushing, diet, and how teeth and jaws develop in the early years, with lots of practical tips mums could take home and use straight away.
One of the biggest takeaways was reassurance that electric toothbrushes can be safely used for young children, as well as how to spot early issues in baby teeth that could later affect adult teeth, helping mums feel more confident and informed from the very start.
